The Artemis model AR10 platform rifle, chambered in 308 Winchester, offered by Rooftop Arms is a top-of-the-line build that is designed to be an ultra-lightweight rifle for quick transitions or when you need the power of an AR10 cartridge but also need to minimize weight. It is named after the brave Virginia Hall, also known as Artemis. She was one of the most feared and productive spies for the Allied Forces during WWII.

The minimalist buttstock and handguard pair perfectly to give it a nimble feel. With the finished rifle/optic weighing approximately 8 pounds, it shoots like a dream and is extremely nimble for an AR10 platform rifle. The low-mass bolt carrier group from JP enterprises is also a perfect addition to a rifle with this style and purpose. It works great for a lightweight hunting rifle or CQB given that it’s topped with a Trijicon Huron scope with Trijicon’s BCD hunter hold reticle. Whether you shoot competition and want some extra firepower, or just want a phenomenal lightweight semi-auto deer rifle, the Artemis model is an excellent choice.

I am not usually one to do reviews however with something of this nature and wishing to share my experience, I felt it prudent to share. I have spent an immense amount of time researching how to build, what parts to purchase, and every other thing imaginable to build a matching set of AR-10 and AR-15. I wish I would have saved hours and found Rooftop Arms first! Let’s hit the high points: Made in America, Veteran owned, GREAT customer service. They had the ability to build the exact rifles I wanted with high-quality parts, and a difficult paint job that came out perfectly! Every step of this build far exceeded what I was hoping to get at the end. Spending a large amount of money, over $15,000, I wanted these rifles to be utterly amazing and they sure are! The highlight was Erin giving me a call and telling me my build was ready to be picked up. A few hundred rounds through both rifles and I am very happy!
