Optimized For Mid-Range Target Distance/Sub-MOA Accuracy
The Recon model AR15 platform rifle, chambered in .223 Wylde, offered by Rooftop Arms is a top-of-the-line build that feels most at home shooting at moderate target ranges from 100-800yds. The advantage of the .223 Wylde chamber is it will shoot both .223 Remington and 5.56 NATO safely and accurately. This beautiful build is topped with a highly regarded optic, the Trijicon ACOG. This scope was used by the US Army and US Marine Corps for many years. It is truly battle-tested. It also comes with a Magpul MS4 sling that lets you sling the rifle either in a two-point or single-point configuration.

This model also comes standard with our Rooftop Arms signature camo Cerakote design. The pattern is simple yet very effective and pleasing to the eye. It is not overly “showy”, but also gives the rifle the extra flare it deserves. Rooftop Arms also only uses the “Elite” line of Cerakote for improved feel and function.

I am not usually one to do reviews however with something of this nature and wishing to share my experience, I felt it prudent to share. I have spent an immense amount of time researching how to build, what parts to purchase, and every other thing imaginable to build a matching set of AR-10 and AR-15. I wish I would have saved hours and found Rooftop Arms first! Let’s hit the high points: Made in America, Veteran owned, GREAT customer service. They had the ability to build the exact rifles I wanted with high-quality parts, and a difficult paint job that came out perfectly! Every step of this build far exceeded what I was hoping to get at the end. Spending a large amount of money, over $15,000, I wanted these rifles to be utterly amazing and they sure are! The highlight was Erin giving me a call and telling me my build was ready to be picked up. A few hundred rounds through both rifles and I am very happy!
